In today's episode of Leaders of Tomorrow, Chris Thomson chats with Jonathan Clarke, a young leader who managed with Student Works for three years, and even met the woman of his dreams, who is herself a top performer. He has grown his trucking business from $400,000 to $5 million in the last six years.
In today’s show, Jonathan shares his experience with the program and some of the things he's learned as a result. For example, before entering the program, he didn't realize it was possible to be successful without having to work long hours every day.
Jonathan discusses his trucking business, and how he quickly realized that he needed to "zoom out" of trucking and look at the transportation industry as a whole, scaling the non-asset portions of the business and focusing on logistics and programs.
You'll also learn something that Jonathan came to realize after starting from nothing, growing from there and then weathering the pandemic - Thanks to his persistence, commitment and vision, he believes that he could be thrown into just about any type of business, even a cash-deficient one that's really in trouble, And he would be able to make some sort of a positive impact.
Enjoy!
